Overman at the Sea Gate
The Sea Gate is a big mechanical gate that connects the SeaWorld lagoon to the ocean in Jaws 3-D. It's also the place where Brucetta killed Shelby Overman.
Jaws 3-D[]
When Brucetta follows some skiers into SeaWorld, she goes through the gate, which causes it to break in the process. When Michael Brody inspects the damage, he orders Shelby Overman to fix it after hours. At sunset, Overman dives into the water to try and secure the gate with a lock chain. As he is fixing it, he looks behind him to check for predators. But after he is finished, the shark comes from behind and devours him, leaving behind a broken diving mask and Overman's arm. However, Overman's repairs trap the shark and her baby in the park's lagoon for the remainder of the movie. It is later mentioned; by Calvin Bouchard; when he claims that; the baby shark got; into the park; because Michael left it open.
