Kathryn "Kay" Morgan is one of the two main protagonists of Jaws 3-D. She is the girlfriend of Michael Brody and works as a marine biologist at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida.

Kathryn is first seen feeding dolphins in SeaWorld. She later discovered and took care of the baby shark. Kay suggested to keep the shark, but also adviced against its immediate display, since it needed to be cured first. Calvin Bouchard didn't listen, and the stress from the display killed the shark, despite Kay trying everything she could to save it.
When Shelby Overman's corpse was found, Kay performed an autopsy and discovered that he was killed by a shark of exceptional size, concluding that it must have been the baby shark's mother, and that she was still inside the park. Kay and Michael went to warn Bouchard in the underwater restaurant, but Calvin's guest FitzRoyce dismissed it claiming that such a big shark could not exist. However, Brucetta appeared out of the window in that same moment, proving Kay was right and the danger was very much real. She later assisted Mike in the emergency repairs underwater in order to save a group of trapped guests. Kay was present in the control room when Brucetta crashed into it through the glass, flooding the room, but survived this final attack and reunited with her dolphins.
