The Animal Bios is an interface menu featured in Jaws Unleashed. Located at the game's main menu, it is a small encyclopedia containing information on different wildlife (mostly aquatic) that can be encountered in the game.

Remora

Remoras detach themselves when an enemy approaches Jaws and, in panic, quickly swim in circles around the shark blocking attacks.
Lionfish

The Lionfish will use evasive maneuvers when approached and attempt to hide within rocks and other environmental locations. The lionfish will poison Jaws if attacked. The poison will affect Jaws with low amounts of damage continuously.
Puffer fish

Puffer fish will attempt to hide. If spotted and approached, it will puff up, which will cause its spines to become erect. The skin of the puffer fish is extremely toxic.
Clown fish

Clown fish will attempt to hide amongst sea anemone. If spotted, they will flee and take evasive maneuvers.
Emperor angelfish

Emperor angelfish will attempt to hide amongst reef and sea vegetation. If spotted, they will flee and take evasive maneuvers.
Butterfly fish

Butterfly fish will attempt to hide amongst reef and sea vegetation. If spotted, they will flee and take evasive maneuvers.
Surgeonfish

Surgeonfish will attempt to hide amongst reef and sea vegetation. If spotted, they will flee and take evasive maneuvers.
Viperfish

Viperfish lie in wait in the dark depths of the ocean. Viperfish use their sharp teeth to impale their victims by swimming at them at high speeds.
Deep-sea angler

The deep-sea angler uses a light-producing organ like a fishing lure. When its prey is within range, it attacks.
Sea horse

Sea horses will attempt to hide amongst reef and sea vegetation. If spotted, they will flee and take evasive maneuvers.
Lantern fish

The lantern fish produces light from bioluminescent organs within it body. It uses the light produced to attract small prey.
Saltwater catfish

Saltwater catfish will flee and take evasive maneuvers when near Jaws. If eaten, Jaws will suffer poison damage from the catfish's spines.
Batfish

The rare polka dot batfish (Ogcocephalus cubifrons) is one of the strangest looking fish in the sea.
Yellow sea snake

Sea snakes are solitary creatures for the most part. They will not initiate a confrontation with Jaws and will attempt to either flee to land or hide amongst sea vegetation. If cornered, sea snakes will defend themselves by biting Jaws and injuring him long enough to escape.
Sea turtle

The sea turtle is fast and will perform dozens of high-speed moves when being chased. They are difficult to catch and will attempt to hide in reef beds and kelp beds. The sea turtle is evasive and has a rough outer shell, which makes them difficult to kill.
